Senator McCain? A few questions please!

After his victory in Wisconsin, John McCain called out Senator Barak Obama, the likely Democratic presidential nominee. In a not so veiled smack at the Illinois Senator, McCain asked if America wants to "risk the confused leadership of an inexperienced candidate who once suggested invading our ally, Pakistan, and sitting down without pre-conditions or clear purpose with enemies who support terrorists and are intent on destabilizing the world by acquiring nuclear weapons?"

Fair question. One I'm sure Obama will be happy to answer in his upcoming debates with the republiCONS default nominee.

Yet, I'm certain Obama, as well as the rest of the American public will also have a few tough questions for McCain.

How about these for starters?

Does America want a President who uses enthic slurs? Or what does it tell us about the candidate's judgment who sees no problem with a hundred year war/occupation? Are voters comfortable with someone running the country who appears to have sold his soul in an attempt to win over the extreme right? Or does a man who once called Jerry Fallwell and his ilk the "agents of intolerance" only later to turn around and give a commencement address at the agent's University have the moral character to lead the nation?

We look forward to learning the answers.

Romney: Consistent to the End!

The night of Super Tuesday, Slick Mitt Romney promised a crowd of supporters "this campaign is going on!"

We now know going on meant for two more days.

At the CPAC conference, Romney annouced he is suspending his campaign. Stunned and shocked supporters let loose with cries of "no!"

Stunned? Shocked? Really?

Throughout his campaign, Slick changed positions on nearly every issue from abortion, gay rights, stem cell research to the environment.

Why would anyone be surprised Slick flip flopped on his decision to stay in the race? One can say this about Romney, he was a consistent chameleon to the end!

McCain/Romney Ticket? NOT!

"Slick" Mitt Romney is stumping hard for Super Tuesday votes, yet must realize his multi-million dollar ego trip is quickly running out of steam. To keep his campaign on life support, Romney's reduced to aping criticism from CONservative voices like Rick Stantorum, Rush Limbaugh, Hugh Hewitt, and Lars Larson of front runner John McCain.

It's clear Romney shares these blowhards' assessment of John when he repeats the message that "We really can't afford John McCain as the nominee of our party." By implication though, Slick is also saying the country can't afford him as president.

Democrats couldn't agree more, and look forward to quoting Slick's take on John during the general election.
